The size is not important. We have even received small snapshots - yet the work produced was magnificent. Send photographs in color - or color transparency slides - or ordinary black and white photographs - or old daguerreotypes or negatives - or you-name-the-type. If you have any doubt whatever, send us what you have in mind. Our artists will go over it carefully and write you a letter by post or email as to whether the photograph(s) is suitable. For black and white photograph please state the color of the subject(s)'s eyes, hair, complexion, clothing, etc.

4. May two or more subjects from separate photographs be painted on one single painting ?
Yes indeed. Just give us your wishes, and there is no additional charge.

5. May the style or color of a subject's wearing apparel or other details be changed to something more desirable for an oil portrait painting?
Yes, we can make any changes you wish - change the background color or image, or make changes to the color of the subject's hair or clothing.There is no additional charge for these color changes apart from the normal charges associated with painting a detailed background or painting additional subjects, as outlined in our price list.

6. Will the photographs be returned to me unharmed ?
Yes, all photographs will be returned to you unharmed with the completed oil portrait painting.
